Although this was a mild summer, it feels as if fall came out of nowhere with its' cool temperatures. And while everyone is slowly dressing in light layers, I'm still in denial that summer is over. I'm rocking shorts and sandals for as long as the weather allows. Summer forever!

Charmed

This face explains how I've felt for the past two weeks. I've been busy running around  and feeling spread thin. This weekend was all about r&r; catching up on sleep, Pretty Little Liars, and The Walking Dead. And the ten degrees temperature increase this weekend was perfect for running, taking pictures without freezing and wearing cute dresses like this paisley one!

Double the Moto

You can never go wrong with anything that's moto style. It makes you look instantly cool. Extra points if it's leather. I doubled up on moto for this outfit to achieve a cool and casual look.

Walking the Line

If you've been following me for a while, then you know that I'm usually a one woman show. I take almost all of my own photos. But these photos were taken by Angelito Jusay, a talented wedding and portrait photographer based in New York. I was a little nervous at first because there were so many people around, but I soon forgot about them. I felt like I was in my element, and the world was my runway!

When I was looking for a top to pair with this skirt, I instinctively reached for my Joe Fresh top (last worn here). I wanted to look dressed up without being too revealing, so I paired this loose fitting top with the fitted skirt.



While we were taking pictures, we saw Diane Von Furstenberg and Aimee Song from Song of Style. Aarong and I were so giddy. We could not contain our excitement.

Shimmy Shimmy Chic

This skirt was last worn here. I don't wear it as often as I would like because I have a limited number of tops that match the skirt. But, I think this black Joe Fresh top compliments the skirt really well. I was obsessed with this top when I saw it in the store. I called three different stores to find my size in black and white. What isn't there to love about this top? The laser cut outs are so much fun. It gives the top such a unique look, and texture. I even shimmied around to see if the dots would move with me, but they didn't.
Heels would have been ideal with this outfit, but I went with flat sandals to stay comfortable.



 Have you seen the caterpillar from Australia that's been dubbed as the mad haterpillar? It stacks its old heads on top of itself. No one knows for sure why they do this, but there is speculation that it's a form of self defense.
